Role Summary

As the Founder's Office Associate for Strategy & Ops, you'll partner directly with Tartan's founder to build scalable systems across finance, strategic planning, internal operations, and people functions. You'll own investor communications, drive operational excellence, and ensure the company has the infrastructure and clarity needed to scale successfully. Key Responsibilities

●     Create and maintain financial dashboards tracking key business metrics and runway.

●     Prepare investor updates and board materials that showcase company progress.

●     Design and implement company-wide OKR systems and operational cadences.

●     Support strategic planning processes and competitive analysis.

About the Role

Role is a remote role currently but will be Hybrid role later this year - work from our Hyderabad office.

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be part of a highly collaborative team where you will work closely with engineers, product managers, business analysts, stakeholders, and leadership.

• You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality. You will work closely with PODs, taking full ownership of the QA process within your given POD, ensuring seamless execution and continuous improvements.
• In this hands-on role, you will be actively involved in both test strategy and execution, ensuring that our app meets the highest performance and reliability standards. Your focus will also be on laying the groundwork for long-term scalability, making sure our testing processes evolve as the product grows.
• Collaboration is key—you will work alongside stakeholders and development leads to streamline workflows, optimize testing frameworks, and drive innovation in QA practices. You will also identify gaps in existing QA processes, propose strategic changes, and implement improvements to elevate product quality across the board.

You will be responsible for monitoring the software development life cycle to ensure quality. This includes but is not limited to developing test cases, optimizing test execution, and reporting application defects. This role is expected to help increase test throughput and product delivery by improving test coverage in a shorter amount of time.

Key Responsibilities

• Define & implement test strategy within the respective POD's to drive results.
• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive test strategies for SaaS-based products.
• Set up and maintain end-to-end testing frameworks to ensure high product quality.
• Perform manual testing for web, mobile, and API-based applications.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Development, and DevOps teams to identify and resolve defects.
• Ensure test coverage for functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Define and implement best practices for quality assurance and testing in a startup environment.
• Analyse testing results and work proactively to improve product stability and performance.
• Contribute to a culture of quality and continuous improvement & deployment
• Handle the sole responsibility of the quality emerging from the different POD’s and working closely with the automation QA to derive results.

Required Skills

Experience as a Sr. QA

• 5+ years of experience in software testing with a strong understanding of QA methodologies.
• Strong working experience in Manual Testing, Regression Testing, Database, API Testing.
• Experience working in agile, fast-paced startup environments.
• Work with cross-functional teams (Product/Dev/QA) to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle on assigned projects to assist in implementation tasks.
• Take ownership of features and enhancements from discovery to closure.
• Develop effective strategies and test plans for quality assurance.
• Experience with CI/CD & software development process with continuous deployment expertise
• Understanding of Web fundamentals (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Server Side Programming and Database)
• ITQB is a plus

Domain Expertise

• Experience in the POS domain, Fintech, or Payments industry is preferred.
• Past experience in testing handheld embedded devices, iOS/Android Apps, and restaurant POS systems is a plus.

Quality & Strategy

• Own and define the QA strategy across multiple PODs, ensuring scalable and efficient testing processes.
• Continuously identify and implement improvements to enhance product quality, reliability, and user experience.

Hands-on Testing

• Actively participate in end-to-end testing, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Develop and execute automated and manual test cases, ensuring seamless product performance.

Metric Reporting

• Establish and track key quality metrics, providing actionable insights to improve the QA process.
• Communicate test coverage, defect trends, and release readiness through data-driven reporting.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with PODs, development leads, and stakeholders to align QA processes with business and engineering goals.
• Clean and clear communication that meets the standard of effective collaboration.

Role and Responsibilities

1 The primary job of the incumbent is to detail and document all customer impacting processes.

2 He/ She shall also be the domain expert on credit card management system and be the interface for system enhancements as well as testing the functionalities prior to release of those enhancements into production

3  Document all customer impacting processes.

4 Discuss with all stakeholders to lay out the processes for the organisation.

5  Discussion with stakeholders on business enhancements required on Credit Card management system and automation required on satellite systems/ End User computing systems.

6·Business Analysis for enhancements to the Credit Card Management System/ EUC systems.

7 Lead the UAT for Credit Card Management systems/ EUC systems.

8 Define and execute test cases for code and product changes pending implementation.

9 Research transactional data to identify anomalies and facilitate process improvement efforts.

10 Manage/ Control the overall process depository.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

 SKILLS required

·       Deep understanding of the Credit Card life cycle.

·       Deep understanding of Credit Card Management systems (Cardpac, VisionPlus, Any )

·       2/3 years’ experience in a Credit Card Operations/ Service

·       Highly organized with strong communication, problem-solving, documentation, and presentation skills.

·       Bachelor’s degree preferred, but relevant years’ experience considered.

·       Experience with use case development and testing coordination.

·       Knowledge of process analysis and process efficiencies.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
