We’re looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to lead the design and development of scalable data solutions at our company. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in data warehousing, ETL/ELT architecture, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. You will work closely with both technical and business teams, mentoring engineers while driving data quality, security, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design of data warehouses, lakes, and ETL workflows.
• Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and build scalable solutions.
• Ensure data governance, security, and optimal performance of systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive end-to-end project delivery.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering, including at least 2 full-cycle data warehouse projects.
• Strong skills in SQL, ETL tools (e.g., Pentaho, dbt), and cloud platforms.
• Expertise in big data tools (e.g., Apache Spark, Kafka).
• Excellent communication skills and leadership abilities.

Preferred: Experience with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow), real-time data, and DataOps practices.

Responsible for the installation, configuration, administration and optimization of Microsoft Windows operating systems.  

Duties:

• Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and other core Windows Services.
• Monitor server performance, ensure high availability and implement necessary upgrades or patches.
• Troubleshoot issues related to Microsoft Server environments.
• Design, implement and maintain VMware infrastructure, including vSphere, ESXi hosts and vCenter.
• Manage virtual machine provisioning, resource allocation and optimization.
• Troubleshoot issues related to vSphere, VSAN and Nutanix environments.
• Ability to work on-call rotations and off hour assignments as needed.
• Act as a subject matter expert for Microsoft technologies and compatible systems in Cloud and Virtualized environments.
• Develop scripts to automate repetitive tasks.
• Document procedural runbooks to be utilized by all team members.

Qualifications:

• Four-year degree in related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5-7 years of advanced technical support in a structured team environment.
• Prior experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) or advanced technical support environment is required. Must be familiar with working in a 24/7/365 environment.
• Ability to understand, interpret, and glean results from complex technical relationships.
• Ability to complete projects/tasks on-time, on/under budget track record is preferred.
• Understanding of software configurations, compatibilities, and licensing.
• Knowledge of network printers, Windows 2016, 2019, and 2022.
• Knowledge of Remote Desktop Services (RDS).
• Knowledge of virtualization environments: VMware (required), OLVM, Azure HCI
• Understanding of GPO’s and Domain Trusts

Description:

Performs the installation, configuration, administration, and maintenance of Linux and other Unix computer systems. Provides customer-facing and internal technical support for a diverse environment.

Work timings: 2.30 am to 11.30 am IST

Duties:

• Acting as a subject matter expert for Oracle Enterprise Linux and compatible systems in Cloud and Virtualized environments.
• Consult with the internal team and end-users to determine system requirements and specifications.
• Act as a member of a quick-response team. Will often work under demanding deadlines, operating independently to resolve complex problems.
• Develop scripts to automate repetitive tasks or document procedural runbooks for junior administrators.
• Be part of an on-call rotation.
• May be asked to mentor others or serve as a team lead, guiding the day-to-day activities of team members.

Qualifications:

• Four-year degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 7+ years of Linux administration experience. AIX experience is a plus. Oracle Linux, RedHat, or LPIC certifications are a plus.
• Prior experience and success in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) or advanced technical support environment is required. Must be familiar with working in a 24/7/365 environment and willing to participate in on-call rotations.
• At least one year of experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Azure, or other cloud providers.
• This is a customer-facing position and requires the ability to work with customers. Must be able to summarize and communicate complex environments and issues to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Must have strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.

• Configuration Management experience is a plus (Puppet, Ansible, or similar).
